Common sonoran desert mammals

Javelinas, raccoons, ringtails, coatis, gray foxes, coyotes, bobcats, black bears, and mountain lions are regular, year around residents of the Sonoran desert region. The animals in the following video were captured on my trail cams in my yard and in Sky Island mountain ranges in SE Arizona.

  1. Serenity just watching all of them. Javelina kiddos are oh, my! Loved seeing the bear triplets too. Took me a bit to pick out the mountain lion at first. All I could hear was the slurping! My brain couldn’t orient the rocks and the camouflage cat, not until her head moved! I’d be lunch out there. Thanks for sharing.
